Hair (Vinyl LP, 1969)
The story of Focus starts in the late sixties with the Dutch version of the musical Hair. Thijs van Leer, Jan Akkerman, Martijn Dresden and Hans Cleuver were engaged as the pivotal part of a nine piece orchestra to perform the musical accompaniment for the shows. Van Leer, Dresden, Cleuver and Akkerman are to be heard together for the first time on the Dutch Hair album.

This particular copy, a German pressing from 1973, was the very first Focus record I bought! The tri fold cover is a real piece of art!
