Montreux Summit: Volume 1
This record was recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on July 24 (and the early morning hours of July 25), 1977. The original double gatefold LP was released that same year.

The album features some of the best fusion/jazz players of the late 1970's (all on the CBS label).

There was also released a volume 2 on vinyl, where Thijs van Leer has a more active role. This LP was however never released as a CD.
